YardTally calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers as part of the static site. This policy explains cookies, analytics, and advertising disclosures.

Information we process
- Calculator inputs: stay on your device unless you voluntarily share a URL that contains query parameters.
- Contact: if you email hammadiqbal117@gmail.com or use the optional contact form (EmailJS when configured), we receive your message to respond. The form sends name, email, and message via EmailJS’s API; see their privacy policy. We do not sell contact data.
- Logs: hosting providers may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent) for security and reliability.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic. The GA4 script loads only after
interaction/idle and respects a cookie notice with Google Consent Mode v2 defaults
(analytics_storage and ad-related consents denied until you accept). Third-party vendors,
including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites
when Google AdSense is enabled.

DoubleClick / personalized ads
When AdSense is active, Google may use the DoubleClick cookie for ad serving and measurement. Use the opt-out links above to manage personalized ads. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework will collect consent before personalized ads are shown in those regions.
Data retention
Calculator inputs are not stored on YardTally servers. Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain the public correction log when a fix is documented. Hosting access logs follow the retention policy of the hosting provider and are used for security and reliability, not for building marketing profiles.
Children’s privacy
The site is a general-audience planning tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact hammadiqbal117@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Material changes to advertising or analytics practices will be described here before personalized ads are enabled.
